 | September 22, 2010, 2:00 am - (1 year ago) Hey all. I'm a newb here.
I'm shopping for a quality portable putting green with breaks for my carpeted basement and have about a $400 budget. I was close to choosing a Truline Big Murph until I read on another forum that it has an unnatural squishy feel when placed over carpeting. Anyone have this green over carpet who could give me a review? I've got a berber carpet over a mat.
This potential problem has me reconsidering the Tour Links Training Aid. I think it would really improve my putting, but since it's not as wide as a Murph, I wouldn't be able to practice as drastic breaks. Also I wouldn't be able to use it when practicing chipping.
Any suggestions or comments welcome.
Richard
