I remembered this while posting on another topic. Several years ago I was golfing with a tourist, who had a decent game to be proud of. I know at the end of 14 holes, he was 4 under par. During our round we were blessed with pretty, blonde, intelligent, 21 year old college co-ed, who drove the beverage cart, working for little pay, but healthy tips. Everyday after school we would see her cruising the course. This job was a help with incidental college fees. The tourist was trying his best to impress the young lady, and in between her visits to our foursome, had a few "colorful" remarks about the young lady in question. He was right; she was definitely a "looker". I had already lost 2/3 of our $20 nassau to the tourist, who was also cleaning up on my friends, which I attributed to their humorous looks at the tourist, and his obvious infatuation with the cart girl. On the 15th hole the young lady returned, and the tourist went into "impress" mode, again. As we were purchasing our beverages of choice the young lady looked at me and asked: "Mom wants to know what time you will be home, so she can start dinner". I answered "around 6-ish." Needless to say the tourist's game went in the tank at that point, and I was able to salvage the last third of our nassau. He went from -4 to +6 over the next 4 holes.
