The Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson show was, as usual, compelling viewing in the final round of the BMW Championship at Cog Hill, Chicago.

Paired together, the competition between the world No.1 and No.2 was as tense as ever, Mickelson winning with a 67 to Woods'70.

What a shame they were so far down the field that this was little more than an entertaining warm-up before the main event involving EuropeÂ's Ryder Cup reject Paul Casey, the runner-up, and the US Ryder Cup rookie Dustin Johnson, the winner.
