 | August 8, 2010, 4:30 am - (1 year ago) For years I had a problem with slicing the ball really bad. I thought I had the problem finally fixed. What I did to fix it was move my left hand(I'm right handed) more over so that I could basically see all of my knuckles, I started trying to hit the inside part of the ball vs hitting it square on the back, and I was standing a little bit further away... That worked when I went to the driving range to try those things, and I played a couple of rounds and never hit a slice. All of my drives were straight. I'm playing golf tomorrow morning and I went to the range this evening. All of my shots were a bad slice or I'd pull them left. Now what causes someone to pull the ball then slice it bad the next time? I wasn't rushing through hitting balls. I'd take my time, take a practice swing, line up and hit like if I was on the course and they all did the same thing.. I'd pull them bad or slice bad..... I was starting to get frustrated so to release some of that anger I would swing as fast as I could with a longer back swing(I could see the club head at the top of my swing) , you know, just trying to kill the ball and I was hitting them more straighter that way and of course a lot longer lol... I'm just confused on how I can pull it bad, then slice it... And when I try to kill the ball I was more accurate. :hmmm:
