Good day golfing buddies!
I've been playing golf on rental clubs for a year now (low rates to rent) and I'm thinking of buying my own set of clubs.
Some websites have crazy discounts, so what better time, eh?
I have a question though... for a person like me (going to the range, hitting around 100 balls and then playing a 18-hole course... every week) is it better to buy clubs that they sell as ultra forgiving, maximum forgivness etc.? Or would the "extra help" prevent me from progressing in my play?
A friend who plays longer than I do, told me that because of a smaller sweet spot on less forgiving clubs (but that add distance) when I'd be ready to move up, it'd be like starting all over again.
A bit confused, but want to by my clubs asap, since these discounts may not last for long.
