 | September 21, 2010, 8:48 am - (1 year ago) Hello, I am new to the site and want to start by introducing myself.. Well after a little less than 4 years without picking up a club I started playing again this spring. I was about a 4 handicap when my job limited my availability to play. I have been through several sets of drivers, irons, putters etc. and am now hitting an older set of TM R7's that I traded my Bridgestone J36's for. I have my 5-pw all adjusted to the length of my 7 iron, I prefer having 1 swing and ball postion. I like the forgiveness of these irons but I would like a club that I can work a little more when needed. With these I can severally open the face and still get a straight ball flight. Since I hit in the mid 80's I still need a little forgiveness. I have been thinking of going with the new Burner 2.0, Mizuno JPX-800, Titleist AP1 or any other recommendations. I know the best thing is to go hit them all at golf store but I dont trust launch monitors since I have hit several drivers at golf galaxy and would hit them straight and different story at the range/course. Should I hold off until I am making more consistant ball contact or go with a newer model/style.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the rambling..
