Each day you step onto the golf course will present you with different challenges. Some days you may have to negotiate a strong wind during your round, or on other days the course may be very wet after some heavy rain.
Whatever the challenge is, it is very important to accept that challenge and play the best golf you can. Too many times do we hear golfers complain, "the greens are too slow" or "the wind is too strong". If we are going to adopt a negative approach like this, we may as well stay at home.
When I arrive at the course, I study the conditions and the challenges. I then acknowledge the challenge and tell myself that I will play great golf as I embrace this challenge. Try it, it works!
