 | July 7, 2010, 11:48 pm - (1 year ago) Coming up in Aug, i will have had golf lessons for about 1 year.
I had a lot of difficulty at first. I had never golfed a day in my life, wasn't very flexible at all, etc. My golf teacher said it was time for a renewal.
I have a great swing, great distance, and beginning to play on golf courses.. alone. Apparently, i've found my "authentic swing" - but have no idea how to score let alone score low.
I have so much to learn about golf. Plus being an "introvert" my biggest fear is playing with someone i'm not familiar with. I usually play alone or a couple of times with my coach.
I was told that by renewing my lessons for another year, i would be taught course strategy, how to find my handicap and bring it down. I doubt that the lessons will teach me to play with others... or will it?
My question is: how long does it take before you finally stop paying for lessons, and be a competent player on any course?
