 | June 28, 2010, 6:02 pm - (1 year ago) On Saturday I will be getting my first lesson. the guy i am going to use came highly recommended. That being said, I have never met him I got the lessons as a fathers day gift. If I can get my head out of my game my irons are pretty good. I do have my occasional fat or thin shots but again if I get my head out of the game. I had a run when i was hitting my driver of 7 holes an average of 242 yards with the longest being 269. Now, I can't even get comfortable on the T box. I have the same issue with my 3 wood. I hit my 4 iron between 190 and 210 pretty consistently. I average 2.33 putts per hole. My other weakness is chipping but I think this has more to do with lack of experience than bad shots. I usually miss chips by yardage either way short or way long and misjudging the green elevation. What should I expect from these lessons? Should I ask for specific items to be worked on being so new at golf (first round was played at the end of January) or let hime tear it all down and build back up? Thanks!
