Hello All,
Took my first lesson today.
Was using a Mizuno MX-100 it was 6 iron +1/2inch, (I'm 6'3") that the pro picked out for me to borrow.
Started out scaring the ball but not hitting it, soon corrected that.
Other than a few wayward shot to the right (slice?) most went straight or slightly left.
When I got it right was reaching the 150yrd marker, boy that felt good.
Overall got a better than average rating from the pro for a first attempt.
Starting to like this game already :thumbsup:
Bought an ex-demo Wilson Staff ci7 6 iron +1inch for £8 after trying it on 2 last balls and hitting probably my best shots.
Anyway just thought I'd share this.
Plan for next week hit the range hard and have another lesson next friday.
